HOW TO CHOOSE AN ARCHERY TARGET BOSS?

Made of plastic, straw or foam... Here is our advice on how to choose your target boss!

THE THREE TYPES OF TARGET

THE PLASTIC TARGET
THE FOAM TARGET
THE STRAW TARGET

DEPENDING ON YOUR BOW, YOUR ARROW AND YOUR SHOOTING DISTANCE

What type of bow do you have? What arrows do you use? At what distance are you going to shoot from?

PLASTIC BOW

The plastic bow has a low target shooting draw weight.

- With soft arrows (suction cup), a plastic target is preferable.

- With steel point arrows, a foam target boss is preferable.

WOODEN OR METAL BOW

The wooden or metal bow has a medium to high target shooting draw weight.

If you use one of these bow's, you'll have to use steel point arrows in order to shoot at targets either made from straw or thicker foam.

DEPENDING ON DURABILITY

THE PLASTIC TARGET

The plastic target can be stored both indoors or outdoors.

Moreover, it is very easy to transport and set up.

THE FOAM TARGET

The foam target can be stored both indoors and outdoors but with a protection.

It is also the lightest and is easy to transport

THE STRAW TARGET

As for the straw target, it must be kept away from damp. It must, therefore, be stored in a dry place.

It is the most resistant target boss to the impact of arrows.
