THE SIZE

Uniforms are unisex and are designed with a single model. The height of the judoka determines the uniform size.

For a child: sizes range from 100 cm to 150 cm.

For an adult: sizes range from 160 cm to 200 cm.

THE SKILL LEVEL

Judo is grappling sport. As such, the uniform fabric needs to be thick enough to withstand grabbing by the opponent. The heavier the fabric, the sturdier the uniform.

Here are our recommendations for uniform weights:

For novice children for training: a supple and lightweight fabric of 190 g/sqm.

For children competing: a thick and durable weight of 350 g/sqm.

For novice adults for training: a supple and lightweight fabric of 440 g/sqm.

For adults competing: a thick and durable weight of 700 g/sqm or higher.
