HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR HIKING SOCKS?

Long or short, summer or winter...Discover our advice in order to select a suitable model.

Your choice of hiking boots will depend on 4 criteria: the use, the duration of the walk, the season and the height.

USAGE

LOWLAND OR MOUNTAIN

Greater comfort is required when walking across lowland.

LIMITED RUBBING

When mountain hiking, rubbing should be limited as much as possible to prevent blisters.

DURATION OF WALKS

The longer the walk, the greater the breathability required. A walk is classified as long as over 3 hours.

SEASON

As the temperature varies dependent on season, select from our “cold weather”, “hot weather", and “mild weather” shoes for those suited to both winter and summer.

THE HEIGHT

The height of your socks must always be greater or equivalent to that of your shoes in order to avoid rubbing of the ankle.
